Ministry Training College

The Ministry Training College at C3 Church Kawana Waters commenced in July 2009, offering a part-time Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology (30268QLD). The program is being offered by arrangement with a registered training organisation, Ignition Training College, at C3 Church Bridgeman Downs. The College offers one course per term on Thursday nights, 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
The Certificate IV in Ministry and Theology is a nationally recognised qualification. Trainees will find the subjects lead into more fruitful ministry in church, whether they are or plan to be a pastor, a Connect/cell/home group leader, or do religious education work in church and/or schools. There are nine subjects, six of them in core areas touching on theology, ministry gifts, church history, principles of faith, and communicating the Christian faith to others. The other three are electives that focus on practical matters such as goal setting, time management, and prioritising tasks, supporting and participating in community groups, and developing leadership in such groups. Our aim is for trainees enrolled in the Certificate IV program to grow in faith and spiritual maturity as they enlarge their understanding and have their faith challenged and developed.
Members and associates of C3 Church at Kawana Waters, and other local churches, are invited to apply for enrolment. Pastors John and Danielle Pearce encourage all who desire to minister in C3 Church and have completed the Empower Levels 1 to 4 to consider enrolling in this exciting new program. A new intake is scheduled for 2010.
